Fun tastings are designed to give you an excuse, if you need one, to spend a relaxed evening with good wine and amenable company. The tastings are aimed at wine lovers who want to learn a bit more about the different styles available, helping to broaden their knowledge and get the most out of those wine consuming occasions.
No previous experience is required as the evening includes two hours of expertly tutored tasting and explanation. But if you have some knowledge, come along and feel free to impart it because one of the joys of wine is you never stop learning, and wine should be about sharing.
You will taste and compare six different wines while having discussions about some of the classic grape varieties and wine regions. You will then try the wines again with nibbles and explore the fascinating world of food and wine matching.
